The worship team at CITY ON A HILL is called, Damascus!

The vision behind the name comes out of Acts Chapter 9. Here Saul experiences Jesus in such a powerful way that his life is transformed forever. Saul’s Damascus road experience was one of the most dramatic transformations in the New Testament. Saul changed his name to Paul and helped transform the lives of countless others because of his own life changing encounter with God.

Our hearts desire is that everyone who worships at CITY ON A HILL will have a life changing transformation that helps them become deeply committed followers of Jesus Christ. The road to Damascus is where Saul encountered God in a powerful way. Weekly worship at CITY ON A HILL is one of the ways we encounter God in a powerful way. Our prayer is that the name Damascus will continually remind us that worship is transformational and that God will use us just as he used Paul to transform the lives of countless others.
