How Church Makes Every Sunday – Super

The Super Bowl is the most watched athletic event of the year, drawing 97.5 Million viewers in 2008. It’s so big the entire day has long since been dubbed, “Super Bowl Sunday.”

But for Christians, each Sunday has special meaning; each Sunday has excitement to it. For them there is an expectation in the air that something great is about to happen. For Christians every Sunday is super!

In the four weeks preceding this year’s Super Bowl event discover how the weekly “church” event can make your life super too!... And wear your team’s colors/jerseys throughout the series! It’s going to be a fun and memorable look at the point and purpose of “church.”

Get Real!

Knowing When We’re Growing…

And Knowing When We’re Not.

Sometimes we feel like we’re not growing at all, like we’ll never get much beyond “Christianity 101.”

How does a person accurately measure their growth in the Lord?

In this six-week-series we’ll use everything from an educational faith-stage-development-model in week one, to the practical assessment tool of “dealing with conflict” in week three, to the quaint but nevertheless important reflection of having an “attitude of gratitude” in week six, (right before Thanksgiving).

In the end, we all need to “get real” with ourselves and our spiritual lives. Regardless of what assessment tool we use, we need to know when we are growing… and when we’re not!
