COAH’s prayer ministry is called, “City Power” because we believe CITY ON A HILL church is powered by prayer. Prayer is a way that we offer praise, confess and renew our relationship to God. But it’s more than just speaking with God. We need to listen and wait to hear from God as we enter His presence. Prayer releases God’s power into lives and into situations. Seemingly, there are some things God won’t act upon without our asking.

Newest Power Line:

Almighty God, we thank you for blessing us with our family at CITY ON A HILL. We praise you for all the mighty works that you have done in the past 19 months. We see your hand of mercy and blessing everywhere we look, and we give you praise and glory!!

Lord, we submit to your authority in all things. We ask for your direction in every word we say and deed we do. So, Lord as we are looking forward to the next place we will call “home,” we ask you to close all the doors where you do not want us to be, and open only the door where you desire for us to go. Lord, we ask your blessing on this next stage of your church.

And Father, we ask you to watch over our children in our Children’s Ministry. Keep them safe, give them good teachers that they may learn your Word and your ways. Help them to grow into a loving relationship with you. Guide and direct us as parents, grandparents, family and friends, to nurture and support our children, and our Children’s Ministry that we may fulfill your command in Proverbs 22:6 “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Jesus, we love you. May we truly be examples of your love and your light, through the power of your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
