Welcome to the Job Ministry of
Hickory Flat United Methodist Church
Our mission is to assist area residents in career transition; recognize and reinforce each person’s talents; assist employers seeking to fill job openings; and maintain a God-centered focus.
Join us for faith-based guidance, job networking, and employment tips on the second Thursday of each month.
What is available at our church?
Network Meetings: We will meet from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the second Thursday of each month for facilitated and informal networking, expert speakers on job search topics, and access to local employers.
Mentoring: We have a limited number of expert volunteers available to coach you.
What is planned for our church?
Small Groups: These are groups of 3-6 job seekers with a facilitator. The plan is to meet regularly, pray, and share accountability. Some small groups will work through the Career Explorer Course together.
Workshops: We plan on delivering the Career Explorer Course in scheduled classes.

How to register on the Crossroads Career Network website:
1. Ask your job ministry volunteer at our church for the registration key.
2. Go to www.CrossroadsCareer.org and select ‘Explorers Registration’ from the REGISTER NOW menu.
3. On the next page, select our Hickory Flat church name from the scroll-down menu.
4. Enter your Career Explorer registration key in the designated field.
5. Complete the registration form to set up your personal account and password for immediate 24/7 access.
