PROBLEM: Children in CherokeeCounty will be going hungry this summer! SOLUTION: MUST Ministries Summer Lunch Program
Once again this summer, CITY ON A HILL will be teaming up with MUST Ministries to provide lunch for children in CherokeeCounty who might not otherwise have anything to eat. Last year, MUST provided lunch for 750 children, and that was only a small percentage of children who needed help. This year, they will be serving even more children.
We will be collecting food all summer to make the lunches:
Drop these items off in the box outside of the worship area.
There are Servant Opportunties to pack and deliver the lunches on Fridays beginning June 5th and continuing through the summer until July 31st. Lunches will be made at Waleska UMC at 9:00 a.m. Delivery routes will also start from there at 10:15 a.m. Making lunches and delivering them each takes about two hours.
Sign up through your Connect Card or outside of the worship area on Sundays.
