The MISSION of Give A Kid A Chance is to provide CherokeeCounty's children in need with everything they need to start the school year off on the right foot. Our vision is that churches of all denominations will combine efforts and work together to show God's love to our brothers and sisters. In 2008, 1,500-plus children were served by approximately 600 volunteers and more than 30 churches, nonprofits and civic organizations.
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Mt 19:14 |
