Initially established in 2004, the Kenya Mission at East Cobb United Methodist Church was created at first to reach the Kiswahili speaking community of East Africa (comprised of Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania) who are now residing in the Atlanta, Georgia area of the United States. Since that time, however, they have grown to a fellowship of nearly 200, and have become so inclusive that they now involve people from many other parts of the world as well.
