Visit Bethlehem without leaving town!
Wed, 12/03/2008 - 6:15am — Dan Evans
Experience the sights and sounds of the City of Bethlehem 2,000 years ago on the night Jesus was born! BETHLEHEM WALK 2008 at Mountain View UMC.
The shops, the townspeople, the census takers, the Roman soldiers -- all go about their business while an unnoticed miracle takes place in a small corner of the city. There is no charge, and nothing for sale. You are invited to come and relive this special time when our Savior was born.
Bethlehem Walk is presented from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on the following evenings: Saturday, December 6; Sunday, December 7; Friday, December 12; and Saturday, December 13.
No reservations are necessary, and it takes from fifteen to thirty minutes to walk through the City.
There is also a daytime presentation for preschools on Friday, December 12 from 9:00 a.m. until noon. In order to facilitate school schedules, make reservations for the daytime presentation by calling the Mountain ViewChurch (770-928-0050) during office hours (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday; 9:00 a.m. - noon, Friday).
Bethlehem Walk is a ministry presentation of Mountain ViewUnitedMethodistChurch (along with volunteers from some neighboring churches). For more information see the Mountain View UMC web site
